Enjoy time with family and friends. Enjoy the delicious food. Enjoy the gifts. But most importantly, take some time to enjoy the reason for the season. Although we don't know the exact date and time of the birth of Jesus Christ, we use this time to celebrate his arrival. With all the hustle and bustle, often times people get lost in the decorations, searching for the perfect gift, and finding the perfect outfit for that Christmas party, to the point that the reason why we are even celebrating is lost.
We hope that you and your family will take time to reflect on the beautiful baby boy that was born and sent to save us. Without his birth, there would not have been a crucifixion and resurrection, which we needed in order to have the chance to see the heavenly father again someday.
Remember, God loved us so much that he sent his only son to save us. So, celebrate yes, but first celebrate the fact that God loved us just that much and the rest afterward.
We wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a healthy and prosperous New Year!
