An Attitude of Gratitude

The beginning of the year is full of resolutions or what we like to simply call goals. One of the best goals you can make for this new year is developing the habit of being grateful. We could tell you to be grateful a million times but the only way to develop the habit of being grateful is to remind yourself to do it every day. Write down the things you are grateful for and then put them on your bathroom wall, on the fridge door or in a jar. The important thing is to make sure that you can remind yourself of those things you are grateful for and include new things as often as possible regardless of how small they are.

There are all kinds of trivial activities that we should be grateful for- waking up every morning, catching the green light on the way to work, having leftovers to take to work the next day or the luxury of having a place to call home. Just remember that other people would do anything to be able to have certain liberties and activities that you enjoy every day. Never, never, ever take even the smallest of things for granted. Decide today to live a life of gratitude because it will produce the most positive attitude. Our society is full of negativity, unfortunately, make sure you don't add to it. The choice is yours!
